The current Editor-in-Chief of Learning and Individual Differences, Elena Grigorenko, has decided to stand down after 9 successful years in the role. Elsevier is currently seeking a successor to head up this internationally regarded journal and is issuing an open call for applications.

The mission of the journal has been to provide an outlet for scholars and practitioners in psychology, education, and related sciences, who are interested in the field of individual differences with an emphasis on learning across the life-span.
