Theory Into Practice is expanding its list of ad-hoc reviewers. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer (a great line to add to your CV!), please send your name, institutional affiliation, areas of expertise, and e-mail address to Diane Baugher ([email protected]).

Theory Into Practice is a peer-reviewed journal, published by Taylor and Francis.  The journal recently celebrated its 50th anniversary; thus TIP has a long history and many devoted readers.  The journal is somewhat atypical, in that all of our issues are special thematic issues.  We have a guest editor for each issue, who works with our three associate editors and our staff on each issue.  The topics covered in the special issues cover a broad range of areas. The articles are written so that they are appealing both to researchers and to educators and policy-makers. TIP is indexed or abstracted in Current Contents: Social and Behavioral Sciences, Current Index to Journals in Education, ERIC, Education Index, Educational Administration Abstracts, Multicultural Education Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, and Sociology of Education Abstracts. The articles are generally brief (usually about 10 pages total).

You can learn more about the journal at either the Ohio State TIP website: http://tip.ehe.osu.edu/, or at the Taylor and Francis TIP website: http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/htip20 .
