APA is now calling for applications for the 2016 Golden Psi Award. Publically or privately funded U.S. schools that teach any combination of grades between PreK and 12th are eligible to apply (here). All applications are due November 1st, 2015 (Sunday).
The Golden Psi Award is given to schools that demonstrate psychologically based practices contributing to positive educational outcomes with successful learning environments, both academically and socio-emotionally. The winning school will receive: (1) $1,000 cash prize; (2) a trophy; (3) local media highlights/press release; and (4) recognition at the 2016 APA Convention, in the Monitor magazine, and on APA’s website.
