The Division 15 APA Committee for the Development of Early Career Educational Psychologists invites you to the luncheon “How to Publish in Educational Psychology” held Friday, August 8 from 12-2 pm at the annual APA meeting in Washington D.C.
Editors from top journals in Educational Psychology will present at the luncheon:
Dr. Frank Worrell, Editor: Review of Educational Research
Dr. Krista Muis, Associate Editor: Contemporary Educational Psychology
Dr. Steve Graham, Editor: Journal of Educational Psychology
Dr. Clark Chinn, Editor: Educational Psychologist
Presentation topics include: (1) What is the most innovate and interesting research being published in the journal in terms of topic, design, methodology, and statistics; (2) How can early career scholars maximize their chances of publishing in the journal (e.g., what are editors looking for); (3) what is the newest and most groundbreaking research in the field; (4) how can early career scholars interested in joining the editorial board do so?
This is also an opportunity to meet other Division 15 early career educational psychologists!
Lunch will be held in the Cullen Room at Bus Boys and Poets, 1025 5th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.
