The Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation (JEPC) Advisory Board invites nominations for the Editorship beginning in 2020. The successful candidate should be available to start receiving manuscripts in January 2020 as Editor-Elect and begin as Editor in 2021.  The Editor will serve a renewable five-year term and receive a modest annual stipend from the publisher. JEPC is entering its 30th year of spotlighting interdisciplinary thought and research focused on consultation and collaboration, primarily but not exclusively in schools. It has long featured research from a variety of perspectives, using multiple methodologies and techniques, and given voice to multiple constituencies. Research, theoretical, and applied manuscripts are welcomed.  Across Editors, JEPC has supported emerging scholars by providing careful and constructive manuscript reviews, and at times through multiple manuscript revisions.  The new editor will be expected to continue those traditions.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the research and literature on consultation and collaboration.  The Editor must be a recognized scholar who is able to assemble and lead a team of associate editors and editorial board members representing a variety of educational and psychological disciplines.

Selection criteria to be considered for selecting the Editor include:
• Comprehensive knowledge and broad perspective on the study and practice of educational and psychological consultation and collaboration.
• Understanding and appreciation of the relevant disciplines represented by JEPC.
• Professional accomplishment and identity within consultation/collaboration.
• Demonstrated research, writing, reviewing, and managerial skills
• Significant editorial experience
