The 2020 Program Committee welcomes the Division 15 community to a discussion on race and educational psychology. We will host several “rooms” where attendees are invited to discuss the intersection of our work as educational psychologists with individual and systemic racism. Discussions of race will focus in one of three areas: teaching of educational psychology, research in educational psychology, and the Division 15 community. Discussions will be facilitated by graduate students and/or early/mid career scholars. Each discussion room will have a designated notetaker so that key ideas, questions, and resources can be shared beyond the individual discussions. Notes will be shared in the next issue of the Newsletter for Educational Psychologists.  Because we want this to be a true discussion among participants we hope to limit  each room to 15 attendees. If there is greater interest in some topics than others we may add more discussions around those issues. Please come with ideas to share, questions to ask, and a willingness to listen.

Please follow the link below to sign up for a specific discussion room. On Friday the discussion room leaders will send you an email with a link to the zoom discussion room.  Sign up here.
