Dear APA 15 Division Members,

We are pleased to share an invitation from Jesse Arvizu, a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Adler University, Chicago. Jesse is conducting a research study as part of his dissertation, focusing on the integration and impact of ChatGPT in the field of mental health and higher education

The purpose of this study is to gather insights from mental health professionals and psychology students on their experiences and perspectives regarding the use of ChatGPT in the field and in higher education settings. Your participation will contribute significantly to understanding the capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations of using this emerging technology in mental health and education settings.

Who Can Participate?

  • Individuals holding a degree in psychology.

What Will Participation Involve?

  • Completing an anonymous online survey, which consists of 24 items and should take approximately 15-30 minutes.
  • The survey will include questions about your professional background, experiences with ChatGPT or similar technologies, and your views on its integration into mental health and higher education.

Incentive: Participants can choose to be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card. At the end of the survey, you can choose to enter your email address to be entered in the raffle to win a $50 gift card. Three winners will be selected at random.
