Dear Colleague,

If you plan to be in Washington, DC for the 122nd Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association next week, the APA Journals® Program is very pleased to extend to you an invitation to join us in celebrating a 2014 title new to APA Journals:

Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences
Official Journal of the NorthEastern Evolutionary Psychology Society

Editor: Dan O’Brien, PhD

EBS

Enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers during an informal opportunity to meet the editor of this scholarly publication, explore his vision and goals for the journal, and discuss ideas for submissions.

Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences (EBS) publishes manuscripts that advance the study of human behavior from an evolutionary perspective, with an emphasis on work that integrates evolutionary theory with other approaches and perspectives from across the behavioral sciences. This includes a special interest in work that explores the role of evolved mechanisms in real-world phenomena; the consequences of evolved behavior for the patterns and structure of society; and the interplay between evolved psychological mechanisms and cultural influences in driving behavior. EBS publishes both empirical and theoretical manuscripts, and welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches.

For more information about the journal, including detailed guidance for prospective authors, please visit www.apa.org/pubs/journals/ebs.

We look forward to seeing you in Washington, DC!

Reception is open to all APA Convention attendees.
