This is a friendly reminder that proposals for the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2018 Annual Meeting are due by July 24th (11:59pm Pacific Time). Please see the AERA 2018 Annual Meeting Call for Submissions for details about submitting a proposal. AERA encourages you to consider a paper or session submission to a division, special interest group (SIG), or committee that best aligns with your research interests.
The 2018 Annual Meeting will be held on April 13-17, 2018 in New York City. The overall theme is “The Dreams, Possibilities, and Necessity of Public Education.”
AERA hopes that you consider a submission in response to the Call. The last Annual Meeting in New York was in 2008. AERA is now returning after a decade looking across and beyond the boundaries of our field, our approaches, and our assumptions to create an annual meeting that attracts diverse participants worldwide. The theme advanced by AERA President Deborah Ball and Co-Chairs Carla O’Connor and Suzanne Wilson presses us to consider the dreams and the possibilities. The time could not be more ripe for doing so as we draw upon the best of research and explore innovative opportunities.
