The Publications and Communications (P&C) Board of the American Psychological Association has opened nominations for the editorship of Psychological Bulletin for the years 2021 – 2026. Dolores Albarracin, PhD is the incumbent editor.

Psychological Bulletin ® publishes evaluative and integrative research reviews and interpretations of issues in scientific psychology. Both qualitative (narrative) and quantitative (meta-analytic) reviews are considered, depending on the nature of the database under consideration for review.

Candidates should be members of APA and should have experience in managing a high-volume scholarly journal. Candidates should be available to start receiving manuscripts in January 2020 to prepare for issues published in 2021. Please note that the P&C Board encourages participation by members of underrepresented groups in the publication process and would particularly welcome such nominees. Self-nominations are also encouraged.

Stevan E. Hobfoll, PhD will chair the search.

Nominations for candidates should be submitted through APA’s Editor Search website (https://editorsearch.apa.org). Nominators must register with the system to submit their nominations.

Prepared statements of one page or less in support of a nominee can also be submitted by e-mail to Stephanie Pollock, Associate Publisher ([email protected]).

Deadline for accepting nominations is Monday, January 7, 2019, after which phase one vetting will begin.
