My name is Brooke Harris-Thomas and I am a postdoctoral scholar at Purdue University. We are conducting a systematic review of Black and Latine adolescents’ sense of belonging within the mathematics classroom. We would like to include as many studies as possible and are requesting unpublished studies that meet the following criteria:

  • Participants are 6th – 12th grade students
  • Participants include Black and/or Latine students
  • Takes place within the school setting
  • Focused on students’ sense of belonging
  • Focused on the subject of mathematics
  • Takes place within the United States
  • The study is empirical
