The Graduate Student Committee of AERA’s Studying and Self-Regulated Learning SIG invites all graduate students, postdocs, and emerging scholars to attend their upcoming event titled, “Crafting Your Scholarly Identity: A Workshop for Emerging Scholars.”

An incredible panel of scholars including Jill Salisbury-Glennon (Auburn University), Shelbi Kuhlmann (University of Memphis), Carlton Fong (Texas State University), Matt Bernacki (UNC-Chapel Hill), and Linda Bol (Old Dominion University) will talk about their own journeys crafting their scholarly identities, offer tips for others who are currently on that journey, and take questions from the session audience.

This free event will be held on Zoom on Friday, October 25th from 3:30 – 5:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time). If you are interested in attending, please see this flyer or register at https://aub.ie/SSRLSIG2024P1.

Faculty members can feel free to share this flyer with all graduate students or postdoctoral scholars in their professional networks!

Please direct any questions you might have about this event to the Graduate Student Committee’s faculty mentor, Dr. Abraham Flanigan ([email protected]).
