Dear psychologists, students, researchers and anyone interested in topics related to human behavior.

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our honor to invite you to the 5th International Symposium on Nonverbal Behavior (Simpoconv5), to be held online from 5 to 7 December.

This symposium offers an interdisciplinary platform to explore and discuss the latest research on nonverbal behavior, with particular attention to its intersection with emotional processes and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in analyzing these behaviors. Key topics will include the role of nonverbal cues in emotional regulation, the impact of virtual environments on emotional expression, the integration of AI technologies for interpreting nonverbal communication, and the challenges of interpreting nonverbal behavior across cultural contexts. We will delve into the implications of nonverbal cues in areas such as digital communication, telemedicine, and education. Additionally, we will examine how these cues influence interpersonal relationships, highlighting how these behaviors shape and are shaped by our emotional experiences.

We warmly welcome your participation in this free of charges event, which promises insightful discussions, notable keynote speakers, and a unique opportunity to connect with experts and peers across various fields. The symposium aims to promote scientific knowledge dissemination to both academic and non-academic audiences, emphasizing the importance of these discussions for academia and society at large.
