The Division 15 Practice Committee invites you to help select the Best Practice Brief Award from our Teacher Well-being Brief series! The series translates research into practical guidance that educators can use, print, and share freely. Seven briefs are eligible for this year’s award:

We need your input! Please review the seven briefs and then rank your top two using the voting rubric, here: https://fsu.qualtrics.
As you review the briefs, you’ll be asked to consider how effectively each one:
- Addresses the topic/theme: Is it aligned with enhancing teacher well-being and relevant and accessible to its intended audience?
- Rehumanizes: Does it recognize hierarchy in education, allow participants to tell their own stories, and rethink research ethics?
- Makes visible: Does it raise awareness, foreground agency and voice, engage communities, and use storytelling?
- Replenishes: Does it bring results back to the community and address community issues within their broader social, economic, and political context?
Please cast your vote by no later than October 1st.
We also encourage you to share the briefs and voting link widely with your practitioner and researcher networks—feel free to forward this email directly! The Practice Committee hopes to gather broad feedback not only to recognize this year’s outstanding work, but also to inform and strengthen future briefs.
Thank you for taking the time to read, vote, and help Division 15 continue connecting educational psychology research with practice.
